Zaporizhkoks June coke output falls sequentially, up on-year
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks plant, part of Metinvest, decreased production of blast furnace coke in June by 4.1% on-month to 72,600 tonnes. This was however up 2.1% on-year, Kallanish notes.
The plant’s output in May was 75,700t, up by 4.5% on-month 3.6% more on-year.
January-June production of blast furnace coke thus rose 2% on-year to almost 426,760t.
