Yongfeng orders Primetals billet welding system
Eastern China’s Shandong Laigang Yongfeng Steel, part of Shandong Iron and Steel (Shangang), has ordered an ERT-EBROS billet welding system for endless rolling for its bar mill in Qihe, according to technology supplier Primetals. The plant could boost bar mill utilisation levels by 3-6%, Kallanish notes.
