Wugang shuts down plate production line
Wuhan Iron & Steel (Wugang) has shut down its Qingshan mill medium and thick plate production line, which has a capacity of 240,000-360,000 tonnes/year. The closure is mainly due to decreasing orders from shipbuilders and traders, and the merger between Wugang and Baosteel, Kallanish notes.
