Wugang to cut capacity but Baowu's output grows

Central China’s Wuhan Iron & Steel (Wugang) will remove two blast furnaces and one coke oven in 2018, according to Baowu deputy manager Guo Bin. The removal will mean a significant cut in capacity at Wugang but will not impinge on the Baowu group’s crude steel capacity increase, Kallanish notes.
