Worthington nabs $23m fiscal Q2 profit
Service centre chain Worthington Industries credits cost-cutting manoeuvres for its fiscal second quarter profit of $23.2 million, Kallanish understands from a company statement.
In the quarter ended November 30, Worthington generated net sales of $699.8m. In the prior year’s Q2, Worthington posted a profit of $31.4m on sales of $758.1m.
