Worldwide rig count rises again in February
The number of working oil and gas rigs operating worldwide rose month-on-month again in February 2020, according to the Baker Hughes monthly rig count, monitored by Kallanish. An increase in numbers in the North American region was mirrored by albeit slight growth in international markets.
The number of rigs operating in the US remained static on-month at 791 in February, while those in Canada rose by 45 to 249.
