Eramet explains why nickel has lost value
No market has been spared by the slump in raw material prices, especially metals and above all nickel. At under $4/pound, sale prices are below cost prices for almost three quarters of producers including New Caledonian subsidiary Société le Nickel (SLN), says Eramet in a document obtained by Kallanish.
