Welsh government invests in steelmaking research and development
The Welsh government continues to support the steel sector in the country, Kallanish learns from a statement by the Welsh economy secretary. The national executive says that it is to continue its investment in the steel industry.
With a sizeable chunk of the local economy still dependant on the sector, the government confirms that it is investing £666,327 ($861,000) in research and development into high strength steels.
