Weglokoks intends to acquire pipemaker Ferrum
Poland’s largest coal exporter, Weglokoks, has signed a letter of intent to acquire a majority shareholding in welded pipemaker Ferrum. The coal firm has also expressed interest in partaking in the operational and financial restructuring of the pipemaker.
Ferrum, for its part, has expressed an interest in securing a strategic investor. The two firms have not provided a time period for the letter of intent.
