Weather drags Whitehaven September coal production
Australian coal producer Whitehaven's September-quarter managed run-of-mine (ROM) production dropped by 37% from the June quarter to 4 million tonnes, as a result of rain and flooding, Kallanish notes.
The group's September-quarter total equity sales of produced coal fell 32% to 2.9mt, while managed sales of produced coal slipped 31% to 3.7mt.
