Walsin begins bar factory construction in Yantai
Yantai Walsin Lihwa Stainless steel, a subsidiary of Taiwanese stainless steel manufacturer Walsin Lihwa, on Tuesday began the construction of a bar deep processing project in Yantai City, Shandong Province.
The construction will be carried out in two phases with a total investment of CNY 395 million ($59m). Capacity of bars is planned to be 29,820 tonnes/year in 2023, and to ramp up to 60,000 t/y in 2024, Kallanish notes.
