Vietnam's Formosa slashes domestic HRC prices
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh has drasically cut its monthly hot rolled coil prices by around 9.6% for February shipments, Kallanish notes. The market was already anticipating a price cut as it has been sliding since October. However, the slash in prices announced late Friday were much deeper than expected.
