Vietnam's Formosa cuts domestic HRC prices
Vietnam's Formosa Ha Tinh has reduced the prices for its new domestic hot rolled coil allocations for October shipment by $15/tonne, Kallanish notes. The mill announced on 13 August that it is offering non-skin-passed SAE 1006 grade re-rolling HRC at $955/t cif Ho Chi Minh City. Prices for skin-passed SAE 1006 HRC and SS400 grade HRC are tagged at $960/t cif and $950/t cif respectively. Formosa’s HRC sales prices are $5/t lower to Haiphong …
