Vietnamese HRC users switch to local production
The Vietnamese import market for hot rolled coil was quiet last week as users turned to domestic supply instead, Kallanish notes.
During the past week, Hoa Phat announced a reduction in its offer prices for August/September shipments to northern Vietnam of SS400/SAE 1006 HRC to VND 22,300/kg ($0.97/kg).
