Vietnam-Italy Steel must exit sectors to boost investment
Vietnam-Italy Steel (VIS) will propose to its shareholders that it withdraw from supplying sectors covered by national security and safety laws which limit foreign ownership to 49%, it says. The move comes after the mill took more Japanese investment to fund its capacity expansion and secure a strategic customer, Kallanish notes.
