Vallourec wins new tube supply contract in Brazil
French tubemaker Vallourec tells Kallanish that it has secured a contract to deliver steel tubes to Brazilian oil company Petrobras for various offshore development wells, mainly off the Brazilian coastline in the Campos pre-salt basin.
The supply includes 1,800 tonnes of premium carbon steel tubes with Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) liners, together with corrosion-resistant alloy accessories.
