Vallourec and Interpipe to form joint venture
Tube producers Vallourec and Interpipe are planning a joint venture. The intention to do so was filed with the German cartel office early this year, and was approved last month.
France’s Vallourec confirmed the project with the Ukrainian company, upon request by Kallanish. It says that it has obtained approval from the antitrust watchdog. However, it did not provide any details regarding what the actual venture is meant to involve.
