Vale's Vargem Grande filtration plant starts operation
Brazil’s Vale has gradually started operations at the tailings filtration plant located at its Vargem Grande Complex in Minas Gerais, Kallanish learns from the company. This is the first of four filtration plants that Vale is building in the region. The total investment is $2.3 billion.
