Vale river transport agreement remains in force: carrier
Brazilian logistics company Hidrovias do Brasil (HB) says it has a valid transport agreement with Vale until 2039. The clarification follows the miner’s announcement last week over the possible divestment of its mining and logistics companies at the Midwestern System, Kallanish notes.
In the Mato Grosso do Sul state Vale owns the Corumbá deposit and Gregório Curvo terminal at the Paraguay River.
