Vale’s iron ore exports recover in June
Brazilian miner Vale saw iron ore exports improve month-on-month in June, Kallanish notes. Shipments, however, remained weaker on-year.
According to Sindicato Nacional da Indústria da Extração de Ferro e Metais Básicos (Sinferbase)’s latest data, Vale’s exports of iron ore in June were 19.88 million tonnes, up 7.7% over May but 3.89mt less year-on-year. Six-month shipments reached 100.9mt, down 19.6% compared to 125.5mt…
