Vale's profit falls on lower ore price
Brazilian miner Vale saw its revenues fall as a result of lower realized iron ore sales prices, mainly due to the declining trend in international commodity levels throughout the quarter. Strong sales volumes and lower unit costs and expenses, however, partially offset these adverse effects.
