Vale to supply feedstock for new Sinobras plant
Brazilian miner Vale and long steel supplier Siderúrgica Norte Brasil (Sinobras) have signed a term of commitment for the development of a new steel plant, Kallanish notes. The facility, which will be located in the municipality of Marabá, in the Pará state, will produce billet from pig iron.
Raw material is set to be supplied by Vale subsidiary Tecnored.
