Vale signs iron ore supply contract with JFE
Vale says it has signed a new agreement to supply iron ore to Japanese steelmaker JFE Steel. The deal will be executed through Japanese trading house Mitsui & Co as a related party transaction, Kallanish reads in a note issued by the Brazilian miner.
The miner has agreed to supply 280,000 tonnes of iron ore to its partner by March 2023.
