Vale halts Canada nickel mine output following accident

Vale says 39 workers are trapped underground since 26 September at its Canadian Totten nickel mine in Sudbury following an accident. “A scoop bucket that was being slung underground detached from the conveyance and is currently hung up in the shaft.
