Vale confirms safety of Xingu dam
Brazil’s Vale says there is no imminent risk of rupture at the Xingu dam at its Alegria mine, Kallanish learns from the miner. The firm responded to an allegation made by regional labour organisation SRT, on 10 June, that the structure may collapse.
