Vale begins using unmanned equipment for tailings removal
Brazil’s Vale says it is starting activities with unmanned equipment for the removal of tailings from B3/B4 dam, at Mar Azul mine, and Sul Superior dam, at Gongo Soco mine. Both structures are currently at level 3 of the emergency action plan for mining structures, Kallanish notes.
