USW, TimkenSteel finalize Canton labour agreement
After one false start, the United Steelworkers and US specialty steelmaker TimkenSteel have ratified a new four-year contract for the company’s Canton, Ohio, facility, Kallanish reports.
The new contract will remain in force until 27 September, 2021. About 1,650 union employees work in Canton.
A previous tentative agreement was voted down by the union membership in late November.
