USW says prepare for disputes at USS, ArcelorMittal
The United Steelworkers (USW) labour union is already digging in for the expected 1 September contract expirations with both ArcelorMittal and US Steel, Kallanish reports.
A nation-wide series of rallies are planned for 30 August, and the union's updates regarding negotations with both companies seem to point to several major sticking points. The two companies combined host 37 local unions, or 31,000 workers.
