USW ratifies new contract with ATI
The United Steelworkers (USW) labour union has ratified a new four-year contract with Allegheny Technologies Inc (ATI), Kallanish learns from a union update.
The union’s tentative contract with the US specialty and stainless steelmaker was ratified by a 5:1 margin. The tentative contract was forged 22 February and ended a six-month lockout by ATI.
