USW international president Conway dies
The United Steelworkers (USW) inform members and the greater community that Tom Conway, the union’s president, has died at the age of 71, Kallanish learns from a statement issued Monday.
Conway was elected union president in 2019. He led negotiations with steel, aluminium and oil firms and advocated for fair-trade measures.
