USW endorses NDP's Kinew for Manitoba premier
The United Steelworkers (USW) in Canada are supporting New Democratic Party (NDP) provincial leader Wab Kinew for the office of premier of Manitoba, Kallanish reports.
The NDP is vying to unseat Premier Heather Stefanson, leader of the Progressive Conservatives (PC) as successor to Brian Pallister, who served from 2016-2021. The USW prefers the NDP, the labour union says in a statement shared with press on 11 September.
