USW cheers plate injury determination
The United Steelworkers labour union is praising the affirmative injury determination handed down by the US International Trade Commission on imports of steel plate from 12 countries of origin.
The 12 countries represent 75% of the cut-to-length plate imported during 2015. Alleged dumping duties range from 28.84% to 244.19%, as Kallanish has previously reported. The petitioners in the case are ArcelorMittal USA, Nucor and SSAB Enterprises.
