USS selects automotive specialist for board slot
US Steel has named long-time General Motors director Stephen Girsky to its own board of directors, Kallanish learns from a company release.
Girsky is currently president of advisory company S.J. Girsky & Company and has served on the General Motors board since 2009. Additionally, Girsky served as GM’s vice chairman from 2010-2014 and headed up GM’s purchasing and supply chain operations from 2011-2013.
