Usiminas to stop one Ipatinga furnace, restart another
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas will stop its blast furnace number 3 at the Ipatinga mill in Minas Gerais for maintenance in July, while the restart of blast furnace number 1 at the same site is set for April, as planned. This was confirmed by the company when asked by Kallanish.
