Usiminas steel production remains weak, BF2 begins restart

Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas) saw crude steel output inch down on-quarter in the second quarter. Overall performance was also weaker compared to the same period in 2021, the company says in its latest earnings report monitored by Kallanish.
