Usiminas to restart blast furnace at Ipatinga
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas says it will resume operation of its blast furnace no.1 and steelworks 1 at the Ipatinga plant on 26 August, Kallanish notes.
The company confirms the resumption of operations will be officially assisted by Brazilian President Jair Bolsonar and Minas Gerais governor Romeu Zema.
