Usiminas performs Ipatinga blast furnace maintenance
Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas says it has begun the maintenance programme at blast furnace number 3 at the Ipatinga mill in Minas Gerais, Kallanish learns from the company.
“Blast furnace No.3 will go through maintenance for the replacement of staves. It is a planned stop that will take 12 days and will not impact market supply,” says Usiminas.
