Usiminas swings to Q3 loss, output weakens y-o-y
Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas)’s third-quarter crude steel production and rolled products output declined, the company states in its latest earnings report monitored by Kallanish.
The company's mining arm, Mineração Usiminas (Musa), saw its iron ore production rise quarter-on-quarter in Q3 but the volume was almost 103,000t lower year-on-year.
