Usiminas sends 1,300 Cubatao workers on leave
Brazil’s largest flat steelmaker, Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas), has announced its intention to put on paid leave 1,300 employees at its Cubatao mill in Sao Paulo state, Kallanish learns from union sources.
