Usiminas first-quarter steel production grows, mining performance falls
Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas)’s crude steel production rose in the first quarter. Rolled products output, however, slipped during the period, the company says in its latest earnings report monitored by Kallanish.
