Usiminas Cubatão produces well below capacity
The rolling plant of Brazilian group Usiminas in Cubatão, near São Paulo, is currently producing at a rate of 80,000 tonnes/month of hot rolled coil, according to local media. The plant is sourcing slab from other mills, following the closure of its steelmaking unit, as reported by Kallanish.
