Usiminas' steel production falls, iron ore output grows

Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas) crude steel production fell year-on-year in the first quarter. Rolled products output, however, showed a positive performance during the period, the company says in its latest earnings report monitored by Kallanish.
