Usiminas blast furnace incident fails to stop production
Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais tells Kallanish blast furnace no.1 at its Ipatinga plant suffered an accident on 22 September. However, no one was harmed and there was no production impact.
