November US steel mill shipments rise, ytd down
US steel mill shipments decreased by 2.3% to 7.18 million net tons in November from 7.35m net tons in October, Kallanish understands from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI).
However, the November figure is a 4.1% increase from November 2022, when US steel mills shipped 6.89m net tons.
