US coil prices slip again
US spot pricing for hot and cold rolled coils continues to decrease this week, but market participants contend that this is not the lowest price level yet and allude to potential production cutbacks at the mills.
Prices for domestically produced HRC have fallen to $640-660/short ton, from $650-700/st last week. CRC has dropped to $990-1,000/st, from $1,000-1,050/st, Kallanish reports.
