US stainless market remains pressured by Covid-19
The US stainless market will likely remain pressured by the Covid-19 pandemic for the foreseeable future, offset somewhat by stainless’ designation as an essential industry for medical equipment, Kallanish understands.
In a quarterly report by the Bureau of International Recycling penned by Spectrum Alloy president Doug Kramer, the bureau points out that both stainless production and stainless scrap flows have already been negatively affected.
