US residential construction outperforms non-residential sector
The US non-residential construction sector performed worse than its residential counterpart during 2020. During the year, US non-residential building starts fell 24% while non-building starts fell 14%. In contrast, US residential construction starts were up 4% at year’s end, Kallanish reports.
