US recovery helps boost Borusan Mannesmann sales
Borusan Mannesmann’s prime quality products sales rose 12% on-year in 2018 to 833,000 tonnes, of which 625,000t were exported. Revenue generated by the Turkish pipemaker was up 28% and gross profit up 15%.
High value-added drill and well pipe shipments increased 6% thanks to the recovery in the North American market, the firm says without providing tonnages.
