US rebar prices begin to strengthen
Spot pricing in US rebar markets are firming up slightly over this past week, increasing by $10/short ton. However, domestic prices were unable to break past the $900/st threshold, which has provided a buoying point for pricing over the past few months.
A northeastern rebar distributor attributes this spot price increase to "buyers putting in their orders for the end of this year."
