Rebar imports rise in March
US rebar imports rose from February to March, Kallanish learns from preliminary steel import licensing data collected by the US Department of Commerce.
According to preliminary census data collected through 22 April, imports of rebar to the US totaled 128,343 tonnes in March. Rebar imports in March were up from February's imports, totaling 77,495t.
